RSS in JIRA. A post mentioning how a bug/feature tracking system outputs new issues in RSS format. In our business we would normally collect information in our database and then build custom (ie. lengthy to develop) reports that aggegate this information. It would be interesting to instead publish this real time vessel movement information - in RSS perhaps - and see if our cusotmers could become comfortable assembling their own daily vessel status summaries - instead of our one size fits all portal view.
