Blogger Crashed This Weekend

Blogger Crash Comments.

“Blogger is, now, at exactly the same security level it was two days ago, minus the vulnerability that caused this hack. Your sensitive information (by that, I don’t mean things like your public URL) is no more or less vulnerable than it’s always been. You can use your feelings about that to decide what information, if any, you should change regarding your server, and whether you want to use Blogger’s feature that lets you store your password.”

The blogger system was hacked this weekend. It’s not a big deal to me since the passwords I use are seperate from my other passwords…but when I got to thinking about it I was distressed that I might lose my written ramblings. They are pretty inconsequential, but they’re mine. I find writing difficult and to lose this effort would have been disappointing. Blogger has also served as my ‘link storage’ area - where interesting articles can be saved forever (relatively). Anyways as timing would have it I’m switching to a new system anyways but I’ll be keeping my blogger account running…if not current.
