Water Everywhere

“Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world’s great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.

I am haunted by waters.”

Another great film, and book.

I always loved the quote by the father, a Presbyterian minister, that “A Methodist is nothing more than a Baptist that can read”. This is particularly funny in Canada, seeing as the United Church was formed as a result of a merger of the Canadian Presbyterian and Methodist (and Congregational) churches.
