Home For One Day
I’m leaving Washington, DC (it’s Sunday afternoon). I’m at the United Airlines lounge using the T-Mobile Hot Spot service. It is slick, and the prepaid minutes is not such a bad deal either.
On top of some meetings I did squeeze in a rapid fire tour of the major sites in DC including the Air & Space Museum and major memorials. Of course it’s intentional but the design of the city and major government institutions so clearly represent the planned structure of the goverment…with the Congress (of the people) at the highest point. The security situation in DC is incredibly tight, it would have been nice to visit when a tour of the White House could be arranged without going through your Congressmans office.
