It Just Seems Like There’s No Time
I keep meaning to blog, I read lots of other blogs, have lots of ideas… but never get around to posting them up… hence a huge list of things I wish I had time to post more about… (in the order in which I put them in my drafts folder)
- I took a one week vacation (about six weeks ago) and went over a week without internet or phone - I survived. I also learned how to skipper a power boat (sort of).
- Apples iDvd isn’t as easy to use as their other products.
- My company turned five years old - I can’t believe it sometimes.
- My friend Marty has started blogging again, his posts about his time in Central America are particularly good.
- It’s weird that our company started at the start of the dot-com bust… and now we’re thriving five years on (not sure why I had two of these drafts) - it might be because Derek made a good post about our birhday.
- It’s a bitch to hook your Apple iTunes (wifi) Express to the Telus ADSL service (because of the mac address registration requirement). It forced me to switch to Shaw which was a great decision, even more so after this recent going on. You can’t claim to be a common carrier only part of the time (even though as a business I understand their need to get competitive).
- Microsoft Virtual PC for the Mac works really well (on my fast mac that is).
- I love the iTunes music store.
- Last but not least - one of my great accomplishments this year - I bought an air conditioner for my apartment… what a difference.
