Again

Been on the road again. Notwithstanding some of the challenges of flying into the U.S. … there’s nothing quite like doing business travel down in the States. Even mid range business hotels have free internet, fast check in and a normal selection of TV channels. Just enough to take the edge off living out of hotel rooms. Caught some thunderstorms on the way out this morning. Makes for some interesting flying.

Home for a few days now.

One of these days I’ll write about all the goings on at work. I keep debating whether to keep blogging as I feel like I’ve got some great things to write about but no interest in writing about them so I’m unsure if I should be writing at all. For now you get rambling and links.

Our company has a new website. I got myself a new MacBook Pro; It’s cool (and sometimes fast) but runs very hot… Derek has a bit more about it here. I got myself a Delicious account, although I’m still figuring out what to do with it (but there’s some interesting ideas about tagging we could use for our business too in there). I’ve been subscribing to Om Malik’s blog for awhile now. I like it. I saw V For Vendetta, it’s a good movie, and makes you think. I used the Telus WiFi at the Calgary airport - the user interface design of Telus web products continues to annoy me. The system tries to be very helpful by remembering the last credit card you used, but if you have moved there’s no way to change the address on that card and the transaction fails… without a seemingly apparent workaround (and traveling makes me complain generally).

Alright back to work.
