London Brightly
Was able to wander London early this morning with the sun shining brightly. The whole city is abuzz with anticipation of the big game tonight (our flight leaves 30 minutes before game time…I bet they make sure we leave on time).
Made my usual pilgramige to Foyles. I got there before it opened and so went and grabbed the Saturday Globe & Mail (I love that I can buy it here on the same day it comes out). Anyways back to Foyles and I’m waiting for it open and a couple are looking at one of the display windows. The window was a display for medical text books, medical equipment. The man matter of factly turns to his friend and says, “I hope they sell full size skeletons in the basement.” That would be the first time I’ve heard that.
I didn’t check for skeletons, but I did get a bunch more books to read. Never enough.
